I’m staying at a place called Finca Santa Domingo, which is on a volcanic sand beach on the lake. Given you can’t see the other side of the lake the views are wonderful.
I should be able to go do some walking and mountain biking from here over the weekend.
Right now I’m in the other town on the island Altagracia. Trying to buy my ferry ticket for Monday night and trying to make sure its 1st class (padded seat instead of hard seat).
So you may be in for a break on the long daily updates from me at least until i get into the heart of Costa Rica mid next week.
