Yep, i pick all the best times to visit places. Today there is some 125th anniversary of Avon thing on. the place is flooded with ladies in pink t shirts with Avon omn them. Then the town square was full of pink balloons and hoards of women in pink shirts. I’m hoping its just today, I assume they gave all these women a free weekend in Prague….
Ah well, I really like Prague its just so beautiful architecturally. I’ve decided i have to come here sometime in the winter. Just to see it without people and with snow.
Prague museum
I walked down to the museum which I could see the roof from where i’m staying (Sadly the worst bed ever, hopefully I have fixed that tonight, by stealing another matress).
It looks to be a wonderful museum, the light wasn’t at the right spot though for a good photo. Then i wanderered down a main street to the Powder gate.
I walked through the Powder gate, the crowds getting thicker and slower and more annoying as I went. Eventually when I saw the town square I gave up with the pink hoard and crossed the river to see the charles bridge from side on. Then I tried to cross the bridge. Another mistake by going against the hoards.

I’ve decided now the sun is really bright, I’ll come back for another look later in the day. It was still sunlight at nearly 10pm last night, so hopefully less people around later tonight. They’ll all be too scared to leave the comfort of their 5 star hotels.
Still i really love Prague. It beats Paris, Rome, London, Sydney easily for beauty. Still I’m finding it hard to beat Ljubljana in many ways.
